THE HEAT – Interview with Paul Feig

Im always interested in figuring out exactly how much improvisation is actually used in comedic movies. Imagine this; You have a script that you wrote and you think its the funniest thing ever! Then you hire two comedic masterminds to act out the role, but they switch it up.. do you just go with it? I got an answer when I spoke to Paul Feig, Creator of Freaks and Geeks, and Director of Bridesmaides. His new movie is  THE HEAT, About a straitlaced FBI agent and sassy Boston cop who team up to take down a powerful drug lord in this buddy crime comedy starring Sandra Bullock & Melissa McCarthy. Also starring: Demián Bichir, Marlon Wayans, and Michael Rapaport co-star.
